I’ve heard that using your Hot Tub before exercise can aid in the improvement of your performance as it loosens the muscles thus, making exercise easier and reducing the risk of causing an injury. Is this true? Can’t it over relax you and tire you out to the point where you lack in energy?

Doug D asked:
I workout at a gym about three times a week, both on cycle and free-weight. After a workout, I spend some time in the whirlpool hot tub — because it feels good. The gym also has a dry and wet sauna. Besides feeling good, do these offer any benefits?

Bob Ross asked:
Basically i was wondering if there are any sort of benefits from getting in a hot tub after intense workouts? I have one at my house and never really thought about it until just now. and are there any other sort of health benefits from having one?
yes, but will it make them less sore the next day or does it not really matter
