I have a ton of kids that swim in it and I am using the bromine tablets. I am adjusting the ph levels daily. I would like to keep them balanced easier and make it less of the daily maintenance. It was a used hot tub and I have cleaned out the filters with filter cleaner, then it got cloudy, because I forgot to filter it for 2 days. I am emptying it now and wanting to keep it clean and balanced this time. I know I can’t used the chlorine while using brominate tablets, if you can lend any advice I would appreciate it. Thanks!

It smells very bad almost like dead rat, I have run chlorine through it with hot water but the smell will not go away, i was wondering if anyone knew how to manually clean it, maybe how to take it apart and clean inner tub?

I have tried soaking and washing in a tub of hot water, Putting it in the dishwasher, after spraying with fantastic. It always gomes out dirty. We heat only with wood. There is still lots of dust everywhere.

In my old house the tub was porcelain, and I used to fill the tub with hot water and some vinegar and let it soak for an hour. All the grime would just melt away. Now I have moved and the tub is reglazed. Can I still use vinegar to clean it? I was told not to use bleach or abrasive cleaners.

I do not get really dirty during the day. I have short hair and no health issues.

My white tub has this dark ring around it that is impossible to remove.

I have tried soaking in bleach, soaking in hot watter and dawn detergent and those Mr Clean White Pads (works somewhat but expensive).

I need to keep my place neat and clean. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Wow, qtbrat1818, there is a product but you do not know the name.

Thank you, that really helps.

Does it work? I usually just use hot water, Comet and elbow grease, but I have a friend who swears by the Magic Eraser. Does it get the grayish looking soap scum off the walls of the shower and around the faucet? That’s where I have the most trouble.

My home is only two years old and both my tub showers are spotted and when I clean them the spots are still there even if I dry the wall with a towel. It seems like they started spotting within the first few weeks and are just getting worse. Any suggestions as to what I can use to get rid of those spots. I do have soft water … both in the hot and cold faucet.

Well, we purchased a hot tub and it has been sitting on the deck for awhile because there was a problem with the electrical plug, but we fixed that. Now there is a little bit of mucky water on the edges, and I need to start cleaning it out, so does anyone have any quick, easy, and safe ways to get it out? It’s not like that much.. only a little on the edges. I just need help.. lol.

Thanks! :D thanks. i’ll try it.
