Long story really short I stayed in a hotel on Feb. 7th. The bath tub was dirty looking on the bottom. I called down and asked why it was kind of black and was told it was normal and ok. I was told it was stained. I believed her. I took a bath that night. The next morning I went swimming and in he hot tub. I asked the girl at the front desk why the hot tub was not hot and why I could not smell any chemicals like chlorine. I was told it was clean and she would look into the hot tub. When I was done swimming I went and took a bath to wash off the pool water. Then I checked out. This is where it gets really embarrassing for me: The next day I started itching a little down there. I thought nothing of it. Then the next day it got worse with pain, Then the 3rd day it was swollen. I went and bought med thinking it was a yeast infection ( I am very sensitive and get them easy). I used it all and was getting worse! I got worried and went to see my OBGYN. She informed that I had a severe yeast infection, A bladder infection from the yeast infection, and two different bacterial infections. I asked her how I got all that as I have not had *** in a long time. And mind you I am married and have been only with him for the past 6 years.She informed me that the type of yeast and bacteria I had was not caused by ***. She said it is the kind she see’s in women who go to public spa’s, public hot tubs, public tubs, ect.. I am now on my 9th medication trying to get rid of this and still and suffering. I started a fever tonight. I called the hotel I stayed at and asked for the manager to tell them what had happend to me since it was proven it was from them. Long conversation short the guy insulted me and called me a lier and refused to look at my medical proof and told me he was in medical school and I probably got all this from a food I ate and he told me to read the papers and I would see that hot tubs and public pools do this to women all the time. I called corp. with complaint and never heard back. I have spent money I do not have on all the med’s even letting bills go and I am still not better. I am working with my doctor on this still, but I feel like I am owed my money for my medical bills and medications, and my money back for what I paid for the room and money for suffering and an apology. What would you do? What do you think? This is not a joke!!! I am serious. I am angry and need help.

I suspect that after water heater replacement by contractor, that something may have blocked the line somewhere. When the contractor told me to turn on the hot water, this is the valve that I turned on first. I did not relate this problem at first to the water heater replacement. This is a delta single lever valve. I took it apart and there was some white particles on the ball part of the valve. I cleaned it off and turned the water on with the valve removed to try to flush it out, but it didn’t help much. How can I clear out the line? with the valve out and the water flowing free, you can see the difference between the hot and cold. the cold side has high pressure, but the hot is definantly lower flow, so I don’t think the valve is the cause! No help from the contractor!

Yes, the hot at the 1 tub is the only one restricted , all other tubs and sinks are fine. I tried to push a wire back into the pipe in hope of clearing the obstruction, but it didn’t help!
It is similar to this model, but I think the valve is ok! I am I wrong about this?
