My husband just got a great deal on an older hot tub that is in excellent condition. It has pneumatic controls, but we would prefer electronic controls and would like to add some lighting. Is this even possible?

We recently just moved into an apartment that has a hot tub on the patio. However, we are not use to having a hot tub. We want to use it, but we have no book or anything showing us how to mix the chemicals we have. We have all the proper chemicals now we need to know how much of each to mix in so we dont ruin it. if anyone has any helpful tips please let us know as we are desperate!!!!

I need to increase the ph on my hot tub, is there a way I can do this with common house hold ingredients? In other words, can I avoid buying a product to increase the ph at a store?

I want to remvoe the hot-tub in our back yard. It is in perfect working order, but we never use it and would prefer to use the space for other reasons. Since the hot tub is connected to an electrical outlet, do I need an electrician to do anything or can I just unplug it and have it hauled away?

Does anyone know what type of company would even remove a tob tub since I assume they need a crane or heavy equipment to move it?

A house I am interested in purchasing has a full sized hot tub in the master bath. It’s a cool idea but I’d rather have a huge shower. Plus I’m not sure I could stand the chlorine smell in my house if I ever used it. I want to get an estimate for how much it’ll cost to have the hot tub removed.

We are looking into getting a hot tub and have a nice outside location but I am wondering if we could put it indoors. My husband thinks the steam will ruin the drywall. Any suggestions?

I have an old hot tub that I’m refurbing I guess. I was wondering what is the best way to remove the scale deposits ? I bought a cleaner from a pool supply store but it barely touched it. I lived with a surfer pool guy and we acquired an old spa and we wet sanded the interior to clean it up a bit and it seem to do a good job and the tub didn’t have a glossy finish anyway. is this adviseable? anyone have a good suggestion?

Well, we purchased a hot tub and it has been sitting on the deck for awhile because there was a problem with the electrical plug, but we fixed that. Now there is a little bit of mucky water on the edges, and I need to start cleaning it out, so does anyone have any quick, easy, and safe ways to get it out? It’s not like that much.. only a little on the edges. I just need help.. lol.

Thanks! :D thanks. i’ll try it.

We just got a new Jacuzzi brand hot tub. We’ve been following the instructions for chemicals as best we can. Every time we finish using it (daily lately) we test and the bromine is zero or close to it. We add more. We test 20 mins later and it’s fine. Sometimes even a bit high. However, the next day, its back to zero. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Is it safe for us to use when it’s at zero?

Thanks!
Yes it’s covered when not in use.

If the water looks good….. test good and it has been 5mts since we filled it. If I wait I will have to do it in the spring then it will be 11mts since a change. ( I live in a cold climate) I just don’t want to waste water or add a bunch of water to a already really wet ground. (hot tub outside) So what do you think?
