Eric T asked:

i recently rented a house and there is a hot tub on the deck, the landlord said it isnt hooked up to anything. what do you have to hook up to make it work?

also if i just put water in it and didnt turn it on, would it all drain out or be fine in there as long as i put chemicals in?

Our hot tub is drained and there is rough, calcium scale on the surface. We would like to remove it to make the surface smooth again. Someone recommended distilled water. That is not working! Any suggestions? Thank you!

We are having a hot tub party for New Year’s Eve and wanted to know a few drinking games. It’s about 20 degrees where I live so we probably won’t be stepping outside the hot tub. Any ideas are plausible. Thanks.

My husband and I just purchased a house and it came with a hot tub which I am overjoyed about, however I know nothing about owning one.
I would really appreciate some tips or pointers for what I must do to keep it running properly and clean, the chemicals to be used etc.
I have been told it might be dangerous to bleach it initially.
Thanks for your help

After I sit in the hot tub for a while I start to cough and I can’t stop, I eventually stop after a while though.

The previous tenants left me a hot tub!!!! My landlord knows nothing about it I would like to know how I can determine what company made the tub and where I can get an owner’s manual for it….I’m dying to test it out!

Ginny 1953 asked:

What is the purpose and function of a hot tub check valve? Is it an essential part, or is it an accessory that my hot tub can operate without?

Reese E asked:

hot tub is about 3yr old .i have not had any problem with the braker box , just the internal panel where the pumps and the heater are wired in.

Robert H asked:

It’s in ground , about 2 feet out, concrete and tile. All I need is the hot tub out. I can remove the pipes and heater if necessary.

tsxanadu asked:

I will be draining my hot tub soon to clean it out and fill it up with fresh water. We haven’t received much rain lately so I’d like to empty the hot tub onto my lawn but I don’t know if the hot tub chemicals will harm the grass. Any thoughts?
